Dear Restaurant Partners,

As you may be aware, there will be festivities for the fourth of July this year in both Jersey City and Hoboken. For information on road closures in Jersey City, please click here. Road closures will be in effect all day, and there will probably be tons of road/human traffic, which will result in heavy delays during our service hours since that will result in our couriers being much slower to move than usual.

We strongly suggest you adjust your delivery zone temporarily on Thursday so that your deliveries are not crossing the road closures in any direction (this may mean avoiding any waterfront area, or area in the road closures in Jersey City). We do anticipate delays if you fail to do so. We also strongly suggest increasing your ETAs to manage customer expectations. Please note that Grubhub is also suspending service after 2pm, so volume will most likely be limited.

Once the festivities are over, you may revert to your previous delivery zone and ETAs. That should be on Friday, July 5th.
